Name: Eve Talbot
Age: 22
Which game are you from: FF7
Weapons/Abilities: Sapphire Edge - A simple short sword that was given to Eve by Lenore. Preferring to use magic, she rarely ever used it in a fight. Since the incident in Lenore’s hut, she’s now way too small to use it since it’s just as big as she is. However, Eve still carries it strapped to her back since it’s still a gift from a friend.
Materia: Lightning(level 2), Fire(level 2), Ice(level 2), Cure(level 1)

Personality: Eve is the kind of girl who assumes she's right and refuses to change her mind about something unless she is absolutely positive that whoever is talking to her knows what they're talking about. Normally she is pretty good about acting like a normal little girl instead of a grown woman who's stuck in a child's body. On the outside she acts polite and sweet to just about everyone. It's just an act to fit in with the world around her though. The downside is that it doesn't take much to make her angry, and she quickly drops her facade if she's pissed off. The smile turns into a scowl and her previously sunny disposition shifts into a 'keep running your mouth and I'll start biting your leg' mindset.
On the inside, Eve is almost in a constant state of annoyance. Even after almost a year of being stuck as a child, she simply can't get used to things. Eve can barely reach anything at her height and people don't take her seriously anymore. The worst part of all is that despite the fact that she now considers her life a living hell, she can't even get a stiff drink to make her troubles go away. To make matters worse, she's noticed that even though it's been almost a year since she's been a child, she's hasn't grown in the slightest. This has made her realize that she probably won't be able to grow up naturally, and is more determined than ever to track down Lenore.
History: Eve grew up in the town of Kalm on the Eastern Continent. Her parents ran one of the local inns and rose Eve as an only child. The girl was never really considered to be an obedient child. Maybe she was spoiled from the constant gifts of toys from the inn’s guest. Maybe it was because she felt like her parents were always too busy working, and that they didn’t pay enough attention to her. Either way, she simply refused to be ordered around, and her parents were too soft to correct this behavior.
The child’s favorite activity was to sneak away from town instead of doing her chores. Her parents were constantly telling her to stay in Kalm since the surrounding area was full of monsters. Eve always ignored them and went anyway. Her parents were always too busy with work to keep an eye on her for long.
One afternoon during one of her little adventures, she came across an old hut. It looked rather run down and the wood was almost completely covered in moss. Eve assumed that whoever lived there must have abandoned it a long time ago. Without any hesitation, she skipped right up to the door and pushed it open. As soon as the wooden door swung open, the raspy voice of a woman shouted at her. “Back in my day, children knew better than to barge into someone’s home uninvited!” The small girl jumped at the voice. She could have sword that this old play was abandoned. Without a second though, Eve turned around and ran back home as fast as her tiny legs would carry her.
She didn’t leave home for the next few days. There was a little voice in her head that urged her to go back to the hut and apologize to the woman. This was especially odd because Eve rarely felt the need to apologize to anyone, at least not sincerely. Eventually the child worked up the courage to go back to the hut and slipped out of town the first chance she got. When she came upon the hut, the child slowly shuffled up to the door and knocked quietly. It was obvious that she was nervous about this.
A haggard old woman answered the door. She was clothed in a simple brown dress that stopped less than a centimeter above the floor, and the sleeves went just past her wrists. Her grey hair was done up in a loose bun, and her lifeless looking blue eyes stared down at the quivering little girl that stood before her. “Ah. You decided to return with some manners, I see,” the woman commented. Eve took a deep breath before attempting to speak. “I-I-I’m sorry for... um... g-going into your h-house without asking,” she whimpered. Everything was quest for a few moments as the old woman silently observed Eve. She soon broke out into a warm chuckle at the small girl’s words. “Apology accepted, child. Would you like to come in for a cup of tea? You have permission this time.” Eve breathed a sigh of relief and thought about the woman’s offer. Her parents had often told her not to go into any stranger’s house. Why start listening to them now though? She smiled and happily accepted the woman’s offer.
The old woman introduced herself as Lenore. The two of them became fast friends. From then on, whenever Eve snuck out of town, she would always head to Lenore’s hut instead of just wandering at random. Apparently Lenore was a witch that dabbled in potions and charms. However, there wasn’t a single trace of materia around her hut. When Eve asked her about it, Lenore explained how materia was a product of the life stream. It’s all a product of the planet’s blood that coursed beneath their feet. If one knew how properly harness it, they could do certain things without materia. Eve had no idea what the old woman was talking about. The child just shrugged it off figuring that it wasn’t really important.
The years went by quickly. Eve was growing more and more mindful of her parents, but still snuck out occasionally to visit Lenore. One morning when Eve awoke, she noticed someone had left something leaning against her nightstand. It was a sword with a note attached to it. The adolescent girl carefully read the scrap of parchment.
Dear Eve,
I have greatly enjoyed your company over the past six years. However, we will not be able to meet with each other for a while. I am going on a trip, and I don’t know when I’ll return. In the meantime, I would like you to have these. They should serve to protect you should you ever find yourself in danger. Use them wisely.
Your Friend,
Lenore
Lenore
Eve noticed a small box sitting on the floor next to the sword as soon as she finished reading the note. Inside were four small orbs that carried a faint glow to them. They were materia! The teenager didn’t understand. Why didn’t Lenore tell her that she was going to leave? Was she in trouble? It didn’t make sense.
Five years passed since Lenore had vanished. Occasionally Eve ventured to her hut and knocked on the door. There was never any answer though. A few months after Eve’s 21st birthday, Eve visited the hut of her old friend once more. She knocked on the door and was met with silence as usual. She didn’t know how long she had stared at that shabby wooden door. Before she knew it, Eve pushed it open like she had done as a child the first time she came upon the place. Everything inside was dark, cold, and covered with a thick layer of dust. Other than that, it was exactly how the woman remembered.
An idea popped into Eve’s head as she stood there staring. ‘Maybe Lenore wanted me to come back. Maybe there’s another note hidden here somewhere that will tell me where she went,’ Eve couldn’t believe she hadn’t thought of it sooner. That had to be it, she was sure of it! The woman walked over to a large shelf in the corner and started rummaging around trying to find the note that she was positive Lenore had left her.
Unfortunately, while sifting through the various odds and ends that were placed on the shelf, the dust she disturbed permeated the air and caused her to start sneezing. Eve grabbed for the shelf to try to brace herself during her sneezing fit, but that knocked over a large glass bottle that was sitting on the top shelf. It fell directly onto Eve’s head, shattering the glass, spilling the strange liquid inside all over her, and knocking her out cold.
When Eve finally regained consciousness, she immediately noticed something was different. Her entire body felt tingly. It was as if everything below the neck went numb and was just now regaining feeling. That wasn’t the only thing that was amiss. Eve knew that something was horribly wrong as soon as she opened her eyes. ”Ugh... Is it just me, or did everything get bigger?” she groaned to herself as she slowly stood up. Still groggy, she stumbled over to a mirror that was hanging on the wall, wiping the dust from its surface with her palm.
The sight she was met with was almost enough to make her black out again. ”What the hell!? What’s going on here? I... I’m a kid again!” Eve shrieked as she stared at her new form in the mirror. She didn’t look any older than seven or eight. What had been in that bottle that fell on her? Was it one of the potions that Lenore was always telling her not to touch?
Eve started to panic. She was at a complete loss. Was she just supposed to wait until she grew up again? What would her parents say? No, there was no way she could let them find out. Eve knew she couldn’t go back to Kalm like this. The only thing she could do was find Lenore. Lenore would surely know what to do. The only problem with that was that she had no idea where to look.
Eve spent the next few hours scouring that tiny hut for any clue as to where Lenore disappeared to. It took a lot longer than it should have since she could no longer reach the higher places without finding something to climb first. In the end, it all amounted to nothing. There wasn’t a single hint as to where the old woman had run off to. ”There’s no way I’m giving up. I DON’T want to be stuck looking like this!” the child huffed. Lenore was somewhere out there and Eve would be damned if she was just going to sit back until either she grew up again or Lenore returned on her own. No, she would go out there and find her if it was the last thing she did!
Likes: Wine, piano music, materia, the color purple, birds, raspberry cheesecake, and incense
Dislikes: Not getting what she wants, being looked down upon, people who are too nosy for their own good, any sort of magic that doesn't require materia, rodents, mushrooms, and hot climates

RP Sample: “Give me the remote! It’s my turn!” “Nu-uh! You just had it!” “Did not!” “Did too!” Mayu sighed as she watched her younger sisters Ami and Emi bicker over who got to choose which channel they were watching next.
Aside from the ruckus caused by the argument, it had been a good day for Mayu. She had spent the day visiting with her parents and sisters, something that she only got to do once every two months. It was the only break from her training that she ever got. As much as she respected her grandmother, it was nice to spend a few days without her constantly looking over her shoulder and barking about every little mistake Mayu made.
“That’s enough you two. Quit arguing,” she finally interrupted the twin 8-year-old girls. She stood up from her seat on the couch and was about to grab the remote herself when her father burst into the room. His face was ghostly pale and dripping with sweat. “Dad? What’s wrong?” Mayu asked, her voice heavy with concern. Before he could answer, her mother entered the room as well with the same pale, sweat drenched face.
Mayu stared at both them for a few seconds that felt more like hours to her. What was going on? Why did they wear those expressions, and why hadn’t either of them said anything? Suddenly, the television crackled and switched over to a distressed news reporter. He was in a helicopter that was circling over the ruins of the once proud metropolis that was the Eastern Capital.
“A-a-as you can s-see from the wreckage behind me, these in-in-invaders are hostile and extremely dangerous. There is s-s-still no word on why these aliens are des-destroying everything in sight and no demands have been made.” All eyes in the room were staring at the screen in shock. Alien invaders? That’s something you were only supposed to read about in science fiction novels. Was it really happening?
The reporter took a deep breath, desperately trying to calm his nerves. “We advise viewers to-AUUUUURGH!!!” An explosion went off in the helicopter before the man could finish. The television screen displayed flames for a split second before the feed was cut and replaced with nothing but white noise.
The only sound that could be heard in the small living room was the static coming from the tv. Nobody from the Himura dared to move or make a sound. The whole thing was so unreal... Was this really the end for the Earth?
Mayu’s gaze narrowed. She clenched her hands into tight fists, causing any trace of color to drain from her knuckles. She didn’t know who these assailants were. They were probably too much for her to handle by a long shot. That didn’t matter though. She wasn’t about to sit idly by and be a spectator to the end of the world. As futile as it might have been, she had to do something.
“I’m going,” the girl finally blurted out. “What? But Mayu-“ her mother began. Mayu shook her head and turned away from her mother before she could finish. Her mind was made up. She wasn’t going to have anyone trying to talk her out of it. “Try to get a hold of Grandma, and be ready in case they try to evacuate the city. I’m going to see if there’s anything I can do to put a stop to this.” With that, the girl dashed out of the house and launched herself into the air. She sped off as fast as she could in the direction of what was once the Eastern Capital.
