Look at me: who do you see? Xion was angry. Well, she would have been angry if she could muster up the emotion to feel angry, but she just felt…dead inside. She honestly didn’t know. It felt as if it had been kicked in the stomach, stomped on, slapped, and stabbed. And, of course, by it she meant herself. She has visited Castle Oblivion, which she knew she probably shouldn’t have done considering she felt dizzy and every time she visited. This visit, of course, was no different, but she managed to remember a couple of other stuff that hadn’t really sunk in before the time she had met-and lost again-Axel and the beginning of the trip. She remembered things she almost wished she could just take back and put back inside her head, never to be remembered again. Worst of all, the things she had figured she had felt when she had first awoken were just…gone. They were like fragments. At first, the emotion spiked in her stomach, but, as soon as she realized she was feeling something, the feeling went away, and she was left with the mere imagination of it.
So, when she claimed she was angry, she couldn’t really mean it. She couldn’t even muster the energy to put a frown on her face. Either the emotion had to be extremely powerful, or it wasn’t there at all. And, that wasn’t fair. She wasn’t around anyone long enough to actually feel a powerful emotion. Xion avoided the people in town as if they had some sort of plague. They were always staring at her. And, although she had realized why they had been staring, their looks of distrust and dislike were unnerving to her and she couldn’t stand them. Sure, when that plump boy made his way toward her and asked her, even though it sounded more like a demand for her to leave, why she was there, she had no answer, but she managed not to run away and hide from him like she did with everyone else. Keeping the thought in mind, however, she didn’t even look at him. She merely kept her gaze up toward the sky and waited until he left with his friends before hightailing it out of there and toward the top of the Clock Tower, where she figured she wouldn’t be messed with for the rest of the day.
Of course, she had managed to borrow some clothes from a nearby store while it was closed-she was thankful that the dark corridors still worked in her favor-and was able to walk around in public without too many stares. And, the stares that she did manage to attract were merely because she as a new face. So, on top of the Clock Tower with a Sea Salt Popsicle in hand, Xion stood overlooking the square. It was nowhere near time for a sunset, but that didn’t stop her from sitting at what used to be her spot and looking around. She was decked out in baggy, khaki capris that came down a little past her knee and a black tank top that utterly exposed her pale arms. She had even managed to get her hands on some tennis shoes. “Stupid people just have to stare.” She muttered, taking a small bite out of her Popsicle and making sure that it wasn’t running onto her hand. “They just can’t leave a poor puppet alone-not even for a minute.”

A black portal slowly opened up several feet away from the large clock tower. In a few mere seconds, a man in a dark suit walked out. His name, Vanitas. Slowly, he looked up and saw a girl eating an ice cream or a popsicle. Either way it did not matter too much. However, there was something about this girl who reminded him of Sora.
Maybe she was one of those nobodies he herd so much about. Vanitas let out a small laugh in this situation. From what he knows three people are linked to one boy. This was going to be very fun for the solider of pure darkness. Amazingly, he can call himself a human, since he has a heart. At this very moment, the masked boy thought about 'introducing' himself.
Quickly, he made another portal and walked through it. Soon enough another one, opened up right by Xion. As that last portal closed, he took a few steps closer to the girl. "Interesting. You really do resemble Sora, but in girl form." He laughed softly. Vanitas was rather amused at this whole situation. If she was a nobody, why was she was not wearing one of those robes?

Look at me: who do you see? Her legs swung back and forth, and she tilted her head back to look up at the sky. Had things always been…this chaotic? It seemed to her that, even though no one was fighting or declaring to kill the other, things were still…weird. It didn’t seem like it was going to be peaceful. She just wished she could have some days off from everything. Even when she had a day off for the Organization, she hadn’t spent it doing things she would have liked-such as spending time with Roxas and Axel. Xion had had to spend her time improving her technique so that Xemnas and Saïx wouldn’t get ‘mad’ at her and dub her useless. There were a million things the replica girl didn’t like, and one of those things was being told that she was useless, a puppet, or a sham. Frankly, she disliked the last one because Riku had made her ‘feel’ like dirt.
Once she had finished her popsicle, she looked at the stick. Disappointed that it wasn’t a winner, she slid it into her pocket and pushed herself back with her hands, making sure she wouldn’t fall over the edge. She didn’t think that the rules that had applied to her on her last day alive, before she somehow managed to find her way back, applied at the moment. Xion stood a little way from the edge, but was still close enough so that, if she were surprised, she’d probably have to grab onto something to make sure that she fall over the edge. She shook her head back and forth, trying to clear her mind of the wry thoughts that were sure to show up if she stayed by herself for too long, before glancing up once more. She had to get out of this place, get out of Twilight Town. It was creepy for her to be here without any of her friends.
She jumped back, thankfully, when she heard someone appear and talk right next to her. Her back collided with the front of the Clock Tower. If she had had a heart, she was sure it would be beating quickly. Her cerulean eyes darted over to where the…the boy stood. She stared at him, blankly. How had he known about her connection with Sora? And, he actually believed she was a part of Sora, not Kairi? That was…odd. Considering she looked more like the latter, she figured anyone who didn’t know about her specific past but knew she was a replica would mistake her for Kairi, but this boy with a strangely familiar voice and look already knew. “How did you…?” Xion began, trailing off before shaking her head once more. “How did you know about me and Sora?”

Vanitas began to get even more amused by the girl's response to the situation, which was arising. "Just like Sora, you can't tell." Vanitas said in an amused tone. However, the dark solider wanted to avoid any kind of fight, for the moment. Yet, if he wants to spark a good fight then he will later. At this moment, he wants to talk to this 'clone' of Sora.
"Sora, Myself, you, and Ven is linked together. Though I believe someone else is also linked with Sora." Vanitas was not sure about exactly who this person actually is yet. "Our meeting was fated to happen." Vanitas said with full confidence. The masked boy was completely sure that he was right about all of them being linked. It makes absolute sense.
"I can tell just by looking at you, that you want to be your own person. In order to do that, you must let everyone know who you are." Vanitas really felt like messing with this girl. Vanitas just found it really amusing see how people would react to what he would say. Nearly everything, he says is the truth. So, he is confident that the girl would react accordingly.

Xion blinked and pushed herself off the tower wall. She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at the boy in front of her. Sora? He had met Sora? Had everyone met him except for her, now? And, he was amused, too. It was like her reaction to him was nothing more than some weird enjoyment for him. That sick feeling in her stomach returned once again, only she wasn't sure why. It wasn't rage. That made her stomach boil. It wasn't friendliness, either. The feeling that came with that made her stomach feel like she was flying in Neverland. No, this feeling made her feel like she was completely empty on the inside. She was curious. "Who...Who are you?" She demanded. It was weird. Everything about him wanted to make her think about Sora. Not just about Sora, but of Roxas and...someone else. She couldn't put her finger on it, either. Xion didn't know whether it was because she had forgotten and couldn't remember, or if she had just never known at all. For some strange reason, an image of Wonderland with Xigbar and Axel, that last time she had escaped, jumped in her mind.
Ven? Her hand jumped up and she clutched her head. That named made her head hurt. It was familiar and not familiar at the same time. It was so confusing. Who was he talking about. Actually, what was he talking about? Sora couldn't have possibly been connected to her, Roxas, and these guys...Ven and this weird boy in front of her, could he have been? No, it hadn't been done before. Somebody would have mentioned it to her before. Vexen would have mentioned it to Xemnas before. Therefore, she would have seen something like that before when she hacked into the Castle Oblivion computers. "Roxas." She stated, realizing he was the one missing. "He's Sora's Nobody."
Her hands dropped to her side. Xion's eyes widened considerably and she shook her head back and forth. She had no idea who this guy was, but what he was saying was impossible. There was no way their meeting was fated. It was utterly impossible. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. You don't even know my name." Isn't that what everyone wanted? She didn't think that there was one Somebody, Nobody, or Replica that didn't want to be their own person. She had left the Organization and let herself be "killed off" so that Sora and Roxas had a chance to be their own people. So, Roxas hadn't gotten to be his own person, but she considered her mission a success because Sora had woken up. "Everyone wants that." Xion managed to say, shrugging her shoulder. "You're not that amazing just because you predicted that." Her mouth twisted to the side. She didn't know what to think. She was so very confused and, ugh, her stomach was in pain. She shook her head many times. She couldn't tell anyone who she was. If they didn't remember her naturally, she wasn't going to face them. She would never be able to look Riku in the eye. She just couldn't do it. She shook her head again. "No, I can't tell anyone anything. You don't even know what I am." She frowned. "I don't even know what you are." She glared at him, pointing at him a little. "I don't trust you. I trust you even less than anyone else." Xion's bottom lip trembled. "I don't know what you want. But, if you do something to me...You'll regret it."

Well at least the girl was useful for something right? Vanitas has finally known the name of that last person who was linked to Sora. His name being Roxas. It was amazing how easy this little game was. Though he was a little disappointed with what the girl had to say after that. "So you don't want to show everyone that you are your own person?" Vanitas said softly. "The moment everyone sees you, they will see him."
"Well, I'm a human." Vanitas laughed when she said that she could not trust him. Barely, anyone could trust him. However, this was a fun game to play. Her last few words made him really want to fight her now. "You should not underestimate me girl." Quickly, he had his Void Gear appear in his right hand in a cloud of darkness. Shortly after his keyblade had appeared, he got in his battle stance.
"No matter what you do you can't beat me. My heart is pure darkness, making me the strongest." Vanitas gave a small shrug after he had said that. This girl best pull out her weapon soon. The Masked boy was one of a kind. Mainly, because he could act like your friend one second, but then attack you out of no where just like that. Vanitas just loved to play the game like this.

Ah, but that was the thing. Her mouth twisted into an unbearable frown. Xion wasn't her own person. She couldn't even claim this was her own body. Everything that she was had been given to her by someone else. Her body had been manufactured by Vexen. If it hadn't been for that psycho scientist, she wouldn't have really come into existence. Her looks technically came from Sora, Roxas, and, by default, Kairi. The only thing she could claim rightfully hers was the memories she had made with Roxas and Axel. So, if she showed her face to someone who was linked to Sora in any way, then she'd probably look like him. Unless, of course, they were expecting to see her as herself for as anyone they wished. In the end, it all depended upon the person who was looking at her. As much as she wanted to go out there and have her own face, her own body, her own memories, she knew she would never have that. Xion would have even been happy to have simply be dubbed a Nobody, not a replica. They, at least, had memories of their past lives that were theirs and not someone elses. Regardless, Xion's eyes narrowed. She didn't know this boy, and she still distrusted him. She was curious to see how he had come to existence, but she'd prefer to find her friends, instead. "I really...I can't say that I do..." She looked down, biting her lip. Her black hair fell forward, covering her face. "They've done it before. Sometimes, I'm a mere puppet without a face. I'm a girl with a mouth and a hood covering the rest. I'm Sora in a coat. Or, I'm...someone who looks like Roxas but isn't Roxas. Don't you see? I'm not my own person. As much as I want to be, I'll never have a heart, a soul!, to call my own."
Well, that was a huge kick to the stomach. On the inside, Xion felt as if she were boiling. Rage. It wasn't fair. She deserved to be human. She was glad her eyes were locked on the ground, away from him. She hadn't spent much time with him and knew he was already evil. He deserved to lose his heart. There were people out there that deserved it more than he did, more than she did! Out there, somewhere, was Axel wandering without his memories. Maybe, Demyx was out there, too. Axel was one of her best friends. He definitely deserved a heart more. And, Demyx, well...He was the nicest Nobody around. She wasn't even sure why he had lost his heart. Her insides raged and her head snapped up, a sneer that would put Larxene's to shame was on her face. "Xion. My name is Xion." She crossed her arms, not caring that he had summoned her Keyblade. She couldn't even call hers to her hand, anymore, without extreme concentration. It was like that time where she had to rely on Roxas to help her. "I'm not going to let you call me 'girl'. You're not better than me." Xion's eyes hardened and she turned her side to him, choosing to stare out onto the station.
She rolled her eyes and threw her hands out, gesturing to how empty they were. No matter what he did to try to make her mad, she refused to give in. Still, in the case that he was persistent, she concentrated on the feeling of her Keyblade, hoping it would come to her when she needed it. "I really doubt that." She sighed, her voice light and tired. "It's exactly because your heart is full of pure darkness that I believe you to be the weakest." Xion pressed, shrugging her own shoulders. Her hands found each other behind her back and she swayed back and forth, on her toes. "I can also tell you to put your Keyblade up." She insisted, letting her two hands go for a brief second so that she could point at the weapon in his hand. She refused to fight him. There was no point to it. Now, if he made her angry enough, she might have been inclined to attack, but that was before Riku had taught her to control her anger. That was why she had lost against him. "If you're going to attack someone who doesn't have their weapon summoned or is defenseless, then you are pathetic, right?" She peered over her shoulder to look at him, her eyes void of emotion.

This girl just had a knack for amusing the dark warrior. "Oh, but you have a heart." Vanitas said softly. He knew the girl was just under a lot of emotions. Regardless, she was going to fight him. "Alright Xion." He said with a small laugh. "No, you're wrong about the darkness. It only makes you stronger if you use it correctly." Obviously the girl has no idea what level of power he has.
Seeing how, Vanitas overwhelmed both Ven and Aqua with ease. One simple girl was not going to be so hard to beat. "Pathetic? Someone defenseless is weak. The weak are nothing more than disposable pawns." The Masked boy soon laughed heartily. He was so amused by this whole situation, he had found himself in. What could be next on his agenda? Then he remembered he was going to attack her right?
Quickly, he took a few steps towards the clone and made a powerful downwards strike with the Void Gear. If she did not block or guard this attack, there was a high chance of her falling off the tower. Vanitas was just not the type of warrior to underestimate at all. After all, himself and his Master are the strongest keyblade warriors around. The darkness will always support the two warriors.

Her eyes instantly whirled and she glanced at him, lost for words. Her hand rested on her chest for a couple of seconds before dropping to her side. Surely, if she had a heart, she would be able to hear the beat. Xion let out a soft sigh and shook her head. “No, I don’t. I’m a puppet. Surely, you knew that?” Her voice, even to her own years, was dejected and made her feel like nothing more than dirt. “Now, really, it’s your turn, mystery boy. What’s your name?” She asked, glancing at him with a small smile. So, he wasn’t a completely rude know-it-all? He could laugh. “There aren’t many people in the world who can use it ‘correctly’, then.” She said, reaching out and poking his shoulder slightly, shivering once she retracted her finger and the coolness that seemed to spread all over her body.
Her bottom lip began to tremble and she turned back around and faced the city, this time. Xion tried to see if she couldn’t see the sandlot from her position up high. She hated that word with a passion. Pawn. That’s all she was. That’s all she would ever be and there was no hope for her to try and change that. Just the fact that he could say things like that and not even seem to regret her made her stomach hurt all over again and she really just wanted to curl up with a Sea Salt Popsicle and maybe, just maybe, see if she couldn’t find Roxas or Axel. “Someone who picks on other people is weak.” She retorted, turning around with a stoic look on her face. “What, does it make you feel better about yourself to put others down like tha-“
Xion was cut off. Her hands instantly jumped up to protect her from the hit that was coming her way. Luckily, she hadn’t been too close to the edge and, perhaps, even luckier for her was the fact that Kingdom Key had suddenly appeared in her hand at the moment his Keyblade would have struck down on her. Still, not expecting the blow, she tumbled backwards and landed on her butt, uttering an “umph” as she fell. Her mouth twitched into a pout and she stared up at him, disdainfully. “Oooh, you’re cool. Thanks.”
