The place hadn't changed much, not as far as she could see.
Naminé entered the cave slowly, her slight footsteps echoing in the walls and breaking the peace of silence. Far, far away she could still hear the waves crashing into the shore; rythmically, like music. She made her way deeper into the cave, and stared at all the pictures in the walls. They had increased, partly thanks to Sora, Riku, and Kairi, and partly due to her very own boredom.
She couldn't quite tell where they had gone off to today, but she hoped they were having fun, she really did. Though that meant she was going to be alone for the day. Kairi probably didn't know they were now separated, though, and that was a bit troublesome. She didn't understand why or how it had happened, but it was very strange. What was so important that had ripped her from her deep slumber?
The blonde had awakened in Castle Oblivion a few weeks ago, and she had then fled to Twilight Town so that she didn't have to face the Organization anymore. She had only come here out of curiosity; wanting to see this world with her own eyes instead of eyeing shyly through Kairi's. She held nothing against it, but it was different. A whole different thing.
It was so weird... she wasn't used to this new freedom she had, it was a whole new thing. Naminé had never been able to wander around freely, on her own, at all, not without getting scolded and punished by the Organization. A couple years ago she'd be on her own in a white room, with her pictures as company, slowly breaking into Sora's mind and memories, breaking them unwillingly, she had regretted it a lot. But now? Now things seemed simpler. Easy, even. She could almost assure she was happy...
...though, she couldn't really be happy. She had no heart after all.

Kairi had gotten up that day and she immediately went to her boat to go to the island. She hoped that Sora and Riku were already there, and she wanted to have another relaxing day with them. The three were best of friends and she never wanted to be separated from them again. They were like the three amigos.
Kairi smiled as she stepped onto the docks of the island that her, Sora, Riku, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie played on. She looked around and felt something rather odd. Not that she didn’t feel the emptiness in her heart, she felt something else, something familiar. Kairi had been having a lot of weird feelings lately. She looked around the beach. It was pretty empty. Kairi sighed and she started walking again.
Kairi’s eyes fell upon the “secret place”. she smiled and remembered all the pictures that they had all been drawing on the cave walls. She wandered in and saw the familiar blonde haired girl that was Kairi’s nobody. Kairi just stood there, staring. “Namine.” she said with a smile. "I thought you were inside me." she then said, a bit confused.

Caught up in her thoughts, Naminé didn't really pay attention to the sound of footsteps approaching. Until she heard a familiar voice and she came to face her Other. A small, surprised smile appeared on her face.
"Hello Kairi. It's nice seeing you again,"she smiled in a friendly manner that matched her tone. "Yes... I thought I was supposed to be inside you, but..."she bit her lip in thought, not quite knowing what to say, not knowing how to explain... She decided to let go of that part for now. "Where's Sora? Is he okay?"she asked; curiously. She wasn't sure of why she asked, but she figured... she figured it was because she worried about Roxas, too. Both of them were pretty much in the same situation, she always saw him when she saw Sora... a slight sigh escaped her lips as her mind slowly wondered about all this...
