This was...embarrassing.
Aqua had thought a nice little stop in a warm and welcoming world would be a nice change. To celebrate her liberation from the Dark Realm, and to perhaps give herself a nice break. Not that Terra and Ven were ever far from her thoughts, but it was so nice to be able to see the sun in the first time in so many years. [Or had it only been mere moments?] Aqua had only ventured to the Dark Meridian, the moonlit beach the only tranquil zone within the whole Realm. As beautiful a respite it had been, it could not compare to seeing these clear blue shores, and the feel of golden sand beneath her feet. Warmth spreading across her cheeks in response to the sun, and it almost reminded her of home in a way. The streams and clear skies, so peaceful and tranquil. Well, perhaps not the last one. It seemed this beach was quite the tourist attraction, but Aqua did not mind. It was rather nice to be surrounded by people, reminding her that she was indeed free from her prison.
If only she had not chosen to buy this bathing suit. The color suited her just fine, being a deep blue. It was just that it felt a little too revealing, but she tried not to linger on it for too long. Tugging on a strand of her hair loosely, she did try to look for a place to sit. Was she being stared at? Aqua blushed faintly, nearly sighing in relief when she did come upon an empty beach recliner. Oh, this would be even nicer with one of her friends with her. A faint pang echoed through her at the thought, but maybe she would run into someone familiar here? What was the chance? From what Aqua understood, everyone she had met was now ten years older, and it would be a surprise if they did remember her. She slid down onto the warm, pliant plastic of the chair, swinging her legs over to rest on the recline. Teal-hued eyes flickered to the blinding sky above her, wincing slightly as the sun glared right into her vision.
At least it was nice and warm. Aqua glanced back down to the crystalline waters, almost wishing she could stay like this for a long while. She had to wonder what everyone could possibly be up to. How was the King doing? Had he managed to become a Master? And what of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys? She smiled at the memory, knowing she was so much older compared to them at this point, even if she did look the same. Folding her hands, she let them rest lightly upon her stomach, feeling quite relaxed as she thought back upon more happy memories. It was lulling in a way. The sound of the ocean sweeping back and forth across the sand, the warm rays of the sun, and the dull hum of conversation surrounding her. Before the young woman could realize, she had fallen into a light doze.

Yuffie had wandered away from Wutai again, this time being chased out because of the illness that was hurting everyone. Yuffie let out a sigh. She didn’t like to be away from home, and she wouldn’t admit that she was kicked out either. The young ninja had jumped through the branches of the trees in Costa Del Sol. She hadn’t been here in a while and she wasn’t about to leave just yet.
The ninja’s eyes gazed out to find a person she could rob, this time, besides Materia, she would take money if any of them had any. She had dropped down silently and took some Materia from a person who was passing by with a female. She smiled and snuck off into the shadows.
Yuffie continued to walk, silently rejoicing in her sudden success. The dark eyes had located a new target. She was a young woman, sleeping with a blue hair. She looked at her oddly and Yuffie had an evil grin appeared on her face. She walked over to the girl and poked her. She then reached into one of her pockets to see if she could find anything useful.

Let’s face it, this wasn’t Firion’s typical haunt. All the more reason to give it a try though, right? He was due for a rest, and this seemed like a half-decent way to go about it.
The fashion of the present world was not something so easily adapted to, however. Where he came from it was not common to walk around shirtless unless either alcohol was involved or your angry wife chased you out that way. So needless to say he was a little uncomfortable wearing only his new white board shorts. Everything from the bandana to the small armory on his back was gone. He had considered stowing a knife up the legging of his unusually short trousers, but what would he use it on? If for some reason he really needed to defend himself he had magic. This wasn’t some demon-infested forest where monsters were the norm though. No, this was a place of relaxation. There was no confusing that fact.
He had not considered it before, but Firion was becoming rapidly accustomed to the idea that his dark body was ideal for this sort of place. Even now as he walked a pair of tanning girls stared in his direction, whispering to one-another. He did his best to return a nervous smile and wave, but that just send them into giggling hysterics. This was going to be an interesting day for sure. Rubbing at his temple in dull discomfort, he began to contemplate what he would actually do when an out-of-place scene struck him. Two girls: one asleep in one of those chair things that dotted the sand, and another standing nearby. Specifically, the odd one out seemed visibly prepared to go through the former’s things. Likely without permission. He wasn’t out to be a hero today but....really?
Without a word he made his approach. He did not slow his motions, but with each step his bare soles gingerly rolled with the sand underfoot, which helped muffle his footfalls. At first the black-haired girl’s intentions had been merely suspect, but the closer he got the more obvious her intent became. By the time he was within spitting distance she was already wrist deep in a (pocket? On a skimpy suit? I dunno.) At first he merely stopped and stood, watching the exercise in the five-finger discount. Then when a moment had passed, he brought a balled fist to his mouth and loudly cleared his throat. If it didn’t get the blue-haired girl’s attention it would at least grab that of the thief.
