Cloud drove across the wasteland. The world here was so depressing. But he was headed for a certain spot. It was cloudy out and about evening. It might start to rain soon. Though he wasn't going to turn around on account of rain. Up a cliff he drove.
Fenrir stopped reaching its destination on the top. Cloud looked at it. The memorial sword. Zack's sword, still perched in its spot. He shifted off, kicking out the stand with the side of his foot. Boots made a thud as they tread across the dirt.
A hand touched the sword handle, before he took a seat next to it. "Sorry I haven't been around lately." Cloud apologized. He rested an arm on a raised knee while using the other to hold himself up behind him. Blue eyes looked to the sky. Cloud couldn't tell the time but it would probably get dark soon.

A large blood red magical crest had opened up in the sky, just slightly behind Cloud. The sky blackened and let out furious roars of thunder. Something was about to happen to Cloud. You could say something or someone has finally found the hero. In only about a few seconds a large beam was shot down from the sky. As it slowly turned into nothingness, he was standing there behind Cloud.
“Good to see you Cloud.” Sephiroth said with a slight grin. Yet again the two warriors were going to fight it out. How could the young warrior fair against the Semi – God? Each time Sephiroth slipped up during their fights, which aloud Cloud to win. However, this time it will be different. Strife needed to use all of his strength inorder to beat the legendary One-Winged Angel.
“Let the darkness out.” He said softly. Cloud was only a puppet for Sephiroth. Once this hero would accept his fate, the world will be the fallen angels. Then finally, he could accomplish what Jenova could not do at all. With a shroud of darkness his legendary six foot long katana had appeared in his right hand. This was it, everything was going to ride on this match.
If he would loose again, Sephiroth knew that he would only come back again and again. As long as Cloud Strife exists and has the oxygen course through his body, the One Winged Angel will always find a way back. It is just as the god Chaos had proven. Everything is just and endless cycle until the evil, conquers everything. Soon his wing sprouted from his back and his other two appeared, almost hidden inside his long black coat.

The air around him started to change suddenly. Was a storm forming? No. It was something else.A shiver went down his spine. The dark power he felt. It was one he knew well. It couldn't be. Not again. That man was dead and had been. There was no way that man could be back.
Cloud whipped around, pulling himself to his feet. What was going? He braced himself as a bolt of light fell from the dark sky. An arm flew up to shield his face and blue eyes closed tightly. “Good to see you Cloud.” Came a voice. Cloud froze. No, he couldn't be right. It had to be someone else. It just had too! Blue eyes opened as the arm lowered down to his side.
There he was. The one man he didn't want to see. "Sephiroth...." His voice was a whisper. “Let the darkness out.” Sephiroth softly ordered.
The blonde grew angry. His fists clenched and eyes narrowed to a glare. "How. How the hell are you here? How many times do I have to kill you for you stay a memory? His voice was harsh. Cloud was tired of fight him, his former hero and idol. Why was he forced to deal with this?
Sephiroth called his legendary blade to his side and a wing on his back. A hand reached for the large sword on the boy's back. They would be fighting once again. Would the ending result be the same as before? Would this "hero" be able to win again? Or would the darkness consume him?

The moment Cloud asked when Sephiroth would only be a memory, he took a slight pause. “I will never be a memory.” The One Winged Angel was going to take Cloud on a journey to the darkness. Everything was riding on this fighting, in a way. Seeing how, Sephiroth knows he will only keep coming back like an annoying insect.
“As long as you live Cloud, I will always keep coming back. No matter how many times I fall, I will rise AGAIN!” Sephiroth said as he charged towards Cloud at a blazing fast speed. With in half a second his face was only a few inches away from Cloud. “Drown in the darkness!” He said while making a quick hop backwards, followed up by a hop into the air. Slowly, he floated higher and higher into the sky.
Once he was high enough, Sephiroth dived downwards towards the wolf. Closer and closer, he had quickly gotten. Once in range he placed his long blade outwards. By moving his long katana just a bit he could cause a massive amount of damage if he manages to have contact with the opponent’s right shoulder.
Sephiroth is not a dumb person at all, in fact he is incredibly smart. At the speed he was traveling at and the force could potentially tear into the flesh of anything. However, Cloud should be able to block this attack with ease. After all this only a warm up of what is soon to come.
After his attempted attack was done he slowly floated backwards and simply waited. Did his attack possibly hit Strife? Anything in this world was possible. Without his friends here, there is a higher chance that Cloud would finally descend into the darkness. Hopefully, everything will fall into place for the Chosen one.

“I will never be a memory. As long as you live Cloud, I will always keep coming back. No matter how many times I fall, I will rise AGAIN!” Sephiroth rebelled. What that true? As long as he existed would everyone have to continue to live with the constant threat of this man? No. It couldn't be because of him. He never wanted any of this to happen. He never asked to be a hero. It just happened. Cloud's head was swirling with thoughts and questions with no answers.
Then Sephiroth seemed to just appear inches from his face. The blonde jumped back, an instinct to get away from someone that close to his person. “Drown in the darkness!” The One-winged 'Angel' proclaimed soaring higher and higher in the darkened sky. It was as if nature itself knew of the battle at hand, forced into the darkness.
Sephiroth charged down at him. His speed was incredible. The long blade extended toward the hero. Cloud quickly drew the large sword. He needed to match his speed, but could he? The blade was held out diagonally with the handle pointed up. His left hand pressed against the other end of his blade. Cloud braced for the pressure Sephiroth would place on him.
He made a small groan when the semi-god shifted his blade ever so slightly. It had made a really small cut in his lower shoulder. Cloud swirled himself around to find where his worst fear had gone. Blue eyes looked forward filled with so many conflicting emotions. Each time they fought he wasn't alone. The others always supported him. But now he was alone. Could the this so called 'hero' be strong enough?
Cloud moved in pursue. His left hand split out one of the hidden blades within his sword. He attempted to strike horizontally with the right blade following with a spin to hit with the second. Could Cloud move fast enough to hit him? Or would Sephiroth have something up his sleeve? Either way this battle was far from over.

Sephiroth grinned as he watched his ‘brother’ groan from his swift attack. That was only one of his lethal attacks. The attack may have been rather light, but it will cause Cloud small doses of pain during the fight. It is only to act as a distraction for the hero. It did not take long before Cloud charged at the Demi-God.
Sephiroth noticed the horizontal slash coming in at a slow pace. Quickly, he brought his blade upwards in a diagonal position and looked into Clouds eyes for a few moments. Where was this ‘heroes’ rage and determination? The one time, Sephiroth decides to actually put a little more effort in, Cloud wants to hold back? This was most amusing to the angel. As their blades broke apart, his brother started to make a spinning slash. Unfortunately, the heavy blade hit Sephiroths chest.
A fairly long cut across his chest. “Is that all the hero can do?” He said in a mocking tone. Why can’t Cloud just let his heart plunge into the darkness? Once his little brother does this, they could complete what Jenova tried to do. However, it was going to take more then a few words to make the boy give in to the darkness.
Either which way, everything was going to happen today. Sephiroth was not going to loose, with knowing this his blade began to glow with a holy aura. Quickly, he flew slightly into the air and launched the Draw-Slash twice.
Sephiroth made a downwards motion with his blade sending a thin wave of holy energy towards Cloud. For the second Draw- Slash, he moved his long katana in a diagonal motion. Both of the attacks kept moving faster and faster towards the hero. How would Cloud fair? The more this fight would progress, the more Sephiroth grew amused.

“Is that all the hero can do?" The "Angel" taunted after Cloud's sword made contact with the second swing. Sephiroth's blade started to glow. Cloud knew this wasn't a good sign for him. What was this "god" going to do now? He jumped to the air sending two waves of energy hurdling toward Cloud.
He jumped back, snapping the second blade back in place. Both hands gripped the broadsword's handle as it rose over his head. "Blade Beam!" The blonde shouted, swinging vertically into the ground. Three beams branched off, one each hitting the two sent after him and the third headed for Sephiroth himself.
Cloud then held his right hand to his chest and closed his eyes. The arm started to glow. "Firaga!" His voice echoed out a blue eyes flashed back open and the arm whipped out. Fire started to swirl around Sephiroth. It was spinning faster and getting closer. Would this end it or would he find a way out? Cloud braced himself for a counter or a finisher. He couldn't let the Angel of darkness win. Once again the fate of the planet had placed itself on his shoulders. The hero only hoped he was strong enough to answer its call.

Sephiroth watched as his two attacks flew closer and closer to his old ‘friend’. In only a few minutes, Cloud sent out his blade beam. Amazingly it managed to cut into his own attack. Well the power that must be put in that attack is high, but still odd. Quickly, Sephiroth brought his sword up and blocked the blade beam. His upper arms felt a slight pain from that attack which cut through his own.
Soon, Cloud pulled shot out a single Firaga at the Demi-God. Was this all? How could his opponent believe that a puny attack such as that could end him? Maybe it was possible that this hero was loosing his touch? Sephiroth gave Cloud a grim look as the searing hot flame came closer and closer towards him. In a moments noticed, the angel vanished only leaving a single black feather to fall down towards the ground.
Soon enough, he reappeared behind Cloud and then activated the Octaslash. His blade quickly grew a dark purplish color and made eight very precise hits towards his opponents back. Thanks to him being a super soldier and this attacking being his favorite, Sephiroth hits will be hard to hit. The Octaslash is a very complicated ability and very cherished.
Once his attack ended he took several steps back and slightly moved his blade in a defensive position. “Your loosing your touch Cloud.” The Demi-God said in a very disappointed attitude. He was expecting Cloud to put up more of a fight then this. Soon he was going to take his long coat off and show his enemy his two other wings. If he sprouts his other wings he then would be in his Safer form. However, that will be saved for later.

Sephiroth easily blocked the beam. Then in an instant, he disappeared with only a single black feather in his place. Cloud was surprised at the sudden disappearance. He didn't see him move at all. Was Sephiroth just that fast now or did he use another of his tricks?
Blue eyes frantically searched the area. They were looking for the familiar silver hair and dark clothing. His body was turning this way and that. Head snapping around. Where did he go? A sharp pain shot through the blonde's back, quickly followed by another and another. He rushed forward to escape and whirled around. Cloud's breath was heavy. He had taken 4 of the 8 strikes. The spots hurt like hell and blood flowed freely.
“You're losing your touch, Cloud.” Sephiroth mocked. The enemies words cut into him. Was he useless without his friends? Were they the only reason he won the other fights? Cloud was starting to doubt himself. Could he only beat this dark angel with the help of his friends? Blue eyes scanned around. No one else was there. There wasn't anyone to help him. Did he even stand a chance without them?
The hero fell to his hands and knees. Sephiroth's words cut into his mind. As long as you live Cloud, I will always keep coming back. No matter what he did, Sephiroth would always haunt him. "Why...." Cloud's hands dug into the Earth. Is that all the hero can do? His mind flashed though memories. Memories of Zack's and Aeris's death. He didn't save them. He didn't do anything, only watched as the life left their bodies. How could he save anyone? "It's not true..." He nearly whispered to himself. You're losing your touch. The hands flew to his face, head turned to the sky. Tears fell to the ground. What could he do? He couldn't be this "Hero." "No...I-I can't...be..." Cloud was losing to his inner thoughts. _______________________________________________________________ Note: Plot idea. Cloud joins Sephiroth, after being torn down mentally. Then AVALANCHE has to bring his strength and mind back.

Sephiroth could feel his blade cutting into his opponents back several times. This only made the Angel curious as to why Cloud was not fighting well enough. What happened to the warriors pride and desire to save everyone? After one of his friends got severly hurt, Cloud went into a blind rage and nearly killed him.
So does he have to hurt someone close to his opponent to get him to fight? Before he could say even another word, Cloud was on his hands and knees. His opponent was showing a great weakness, he had never shown before. Soon, Sephiroth slowly readied himself to kill Cloud right here and now. As a few moments passed he erased that thought from his mind and had a whole knew idea in his mind.
Maybe, he could get Cloud to join him? It was a long shot, but having Cloud as his ally for a short time could get him very far. “Cloud, join me and your loved ones will not die.” He said softly. To a person in the right state of mind, they would know that Sephiroth was lying. However, Cloud seemed to be having a mental break down. Knowing this anything could happen .

The thoughts continued to push the blonde on a downward spiral. Words from the past stabbed at him. He was lost in his own mind. Then new words cut the others out. “Cloud, join me and your loved ones will not die.” He looked up at the one before him, blue eyes glaring. Cloud would have said, 'Not interested' if he was in his right mind, that is. Right now the blonde just stared at him. Memories of when the two of them went on assignments together danced in his head.
Maybe he should. Cloud wasn't helping anyone. He never did. But could he really trust the man who was attempting to take over the planet? Blue eyes slumped to the ground. The thought continued to enter his mind. Cloud looked back up at Sephiroth, head titled to one side. "What do you want me to do?" He was leaning more and more on what the dark angel wanted.

With Cloud practically on his hands and knees everything was going smooth. The Angel was going to get Cloud to help him out for a little while. Even if the ex.Soldier would partner up with him for a little while, everything works. It was not long before his old comrade had asked a simple question. What a simple question at that too. "You will get me Materia."
If this all works out according to his plan the black materia will absorb the weaker Materia only getting stronger. The One-Winged Angels blade slowly disappeared into the darkness from once it came. Now if his idea works the Black Materia will be even stronger than before. Making is goal of taking this world as his own a lot easier.
However, Sephiroth knew that he still had to be on guard. If Cloud was faking all of this, his plans can go sour rather fast. Having this in mind, Sephiroth started to make sure he was more aware of Cloud. Now being more alert around Cloud, Sephiroth was pretty much pre-pared to make any kind of counter attack. At this point, it was time to take Cloud materia hunting.

Materia. The word echoed in his head. What was materia gonna do? Cloud didn't have a clue what Sephiroth was planning. He doubted it was good, but at the same time he didn't care. Everyone was going to die eventually. There wasn't a thing he could do to stop that. So what was the point of trying anymore? The blonde was tired of it all. Tired of trying to be what he was not. Cloud wasn't a hero. The two people he cared about had lost their lives right in front of him and he didn't even lift a finger to help.
He sighed, wiped the tears away and forced himself to his feet. A hand grabbed the sword laying in front of him. It flipped up on his back. Blue eyes looked back at Sephiroth. "OK." Cloud's voice was completely serious. His eyes had a look of pain to them but more of the memories of the fallen then what he had just signed up to do. The eyes flashed to look at the sword stabbed into the ground. Cloud walked over to it and placed his right hand on the handle. "I'm sorry...but...I'm no hero." He said quietly.

Sephiroth had a slightly evil grin when his new 'companion' said he was not a hero. Of course he was a hero. The man just had no self confidence at this point. So It was time to continue his little plot. "Lets go." After saying that a large red crest opened up in the sky causing it to turn black once more. A blood read beam shot down, and Sephiroth walked into it. Once Cloud enters, there is not going back.
(This was all I can think of. XD We can start the next thread, but with one or two of Clouds Friends this time? It could make things interesting.)

Cloud hesitated when the red beam shot down from the sky. Sephiroth walked into it and disappeared. He wasn't sure about entering some beam like that. Who wouldn't though? Blue eyes stared at it showing a questioning look. But he agreed to help and that was Sephiroth's method of travel. Cloud looked back at Fenrir. The motorcycle would be safe there. Hardly anyone came out here.
The blonde nodded to himself and face the blood red beam again. He forced himself to walk to it. With only a few inches between the two, Cloud stopped. He took a deep breath and stepped in. It felt strange as the light engulf him. He hadn't a clue where he was anymore or where he was going. ______________________________________________________________ Notes: Sorry, had internet trouble. >.< That's what I was thinking.
